Whenever I see a plant that’s not green, I feel discord within.  Don’t plants need chlorophyll in order to grow, and isn’t chlrophyll green?  How can a plant that’s purple live?  How can an organic thing go so blatantly against nature? Of course, I realize that this is prejudice, pure and simple.  I will need to walk the Maine Coastal Botanical Gardens’ labyrinth and listen to the sound of stone in order to process and evolve beyond my ignorance and intolerance.
